<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airbag control device capable of preventing an occupant from being thrown out to the outside of a vehicle by previously detecting the rolling of the vehicle, and deploying a curtain airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag control device is equipped with a right and left rolling direction determination part 32 determining the direction of roll over and rolling of the vehicle, a seat belt wind-up machine 5 winding up the seat belt based on the determination result of the right and left rolling direction determination part 32, a load distribution determination part 31 detecting inclination information related to the occupant on the sitting seat, and an airbag deployment determination means 4 which simultaneously deploys the right and left side airbags 6, 7 having the function of steering the occupant away from the side window 10 based on the inclination information related to the occupant from the load distribution determination part 31, and deploys the right and left curtain airbag 9 after a certain period of time or simultaneously after deployment of the side airbag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
