PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder and an image forming device capable of enhancing the operability when drawing or inserting a paper feed cassette without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: Substantially straight guide parts 84, 84 are formed on the inner side of supporting parts 82, 82 on both sides to constitute a paper feeder body 20, and a paper feed cassette 22 is slidably guided by the guide parts 84, 84. A stopper 90 is formed on a tip side of the paper feed cassette 22, the stopper 90 is abutted on a stopper receiver 94 formed on the paper feeder body 20 to stop the paper feed cassette 22. A stopper releasing part 98 is integrated with the guide part 84 below the stopper receiver 94, and the stopper releasing part 98 is deflected to unlock the stopper 90. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
