PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeler capable of enhancing the peeling efficiency higher than a straight-lined blade edge in peeling the skin of a cylindrical foodstuff by reversely rotating one blade part and an abutting part or a blade body on the foodstuff with the other blade part and the abutting part abutting to the foodstuff because the blade edge of the blade part of the peeler is arc-shaped, and capable of peeling the skin of the foodstuff with a large or small different blade edge according to the thickness of the foodstuff because the blade edges of the blade parts are arc-shaped with large and small diameters different from each other. SOLUTION: The blade body 2 is pivotally attached to the distal end of a handle body 1. The blade body 2 comprises the blade parts 2a for peeling the skin of the foodstuff and the abutting part 2b which is disposed with a gap R for passage from the blade parts and which can abut to the skin of the foodstuff. The pair of the blade parts are disposed at front and rear positions in the direction of peeling/drawing the skin, and the abutting part is disposed in the middle of the blade parts via the gap for passage.
