<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte having both high ion conductivity and low methanol transmittance, and also having sufficient strength. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte is such that a domain and a matrix domain including an acid residue form a 3-dimensional cross-linkage structure by a carbon-carbon bond of superimposed principal chains and polyether of a cross-linkage group, with an ion conductivity of 0.010S/cm or more, a methanol diffusion coefficient of 4×10<SP>-7</SP>cm<SP>2</SP>/s or less, a pull strength of 40MPa or more, and a pressure strength of 500kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
