PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the processing precision of a soft long work (w) without damaging the original function of the work (w). SOLUTION: After the soft long work (w) is molded by extrusion molding, a resin extrudate (m) made of a resin relatively hard to extend as compared with the work (w) is extruded to the surface of the work (w) at a predetermined position of the work (w) to be continuously joined to the work (w) along the longitudinal direction thereof. Then, the work (w), to which the resin extrudate (m) is joined, is sent out to a processing position, where the work (w) is processed mechanically, by a work sending belt 24. At this time, the work sending quantity from the work sending belt 24 is measured by a rotary encoder 32 on the upstream side of the processing position to send out a production quantity of the work (w) to the processing position.
