PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of matching lifetimes of P2P communication carried out between information processing devices carrying out P2P communication, between the devices. SOLUTION: The information processing system is provided with the first information processing device 1, and the second information processing device 2 carrying out P2P communication. The first information processing device 1 sends stored lifetime information indicating a lifetime of P2P communication to the second information processing device 2 by P2P communication. The second information processing device 2 receives the lifetime information sent from the first information processing device 1, and lifetime information stored at the second information processing device 2 is changed on the basis of the received lifetime information.
