PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which prevents occurrence of luminance non-uniformity and chrominance non-uniformity attributed to parasitic capacitance and the like in a supply path of the precharge signal prior to the writing of an image signal. SOLUTION: Precharge signals PV1 and PV2 to be supplied to a precharge signal line are generated by using, for example, a differential circuit, and a peak value at the rising edge or the falling edge of each signal is output with its successive signal.
