PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing chain cover structure capable of surely reducing radiation noise due to vibration in a belt tensioner fitting position. SOLUTION: A serpentine belt is wrapped outside the timing chain cover 4 so that an alternator pulley, a power steering pump pulley, an air conditioning compressor pulley and a water pump pulley 45a are driven for rotation by driving rotation of a crank pulley 41, and a belt tensioner 5 is arranged to adjust tension of the serpentine belt. A belt tensioner fitting plate 53 is fitted to a right and a left wall parts 4a and 4b, which are formed thick in the in-and-out direction in both of a right and a left side edges of the predetermined position A of the timing chain cover so that the predetermined position A of the timing chain cover is swelled outside a cylinder block 1, through a plate spring material 6 for giving elastic force to the predetermined part outside the timing chain cover to restrict vibration near the predetermined part.
