An apparatus for checking originator information of a message in a mobile communication system includes a server for detecting originator information, such as an originator phone number, identification information and authentication state information of a received message. A mobile switching center establishes a transmission path for the text message on the basis of the detected recipient information, and transmits the text message, the detected originator phone number, the identification information and the authentication state information through the established path. |
