PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color misalignment from occurring to a toner image on an intermediate transfer belt in an image forming apparatus where the toner images of different colors are successively formed on a photoreceptor and successively primarily transferred to the intermediate transfer belt, and the toner images on the intermediate transfer belt are collectively transferred to transfer paper. SOLUTION: Dot toner images other than the toner image are formed on the photoreceptor 9, primarily transferred to the intermediate transfer belt 19 and secondarily transferred to the transfer paper.
