PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal for saving the inconvenience even without the provision of a backup battery. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 includes an SRAM 15; a CPU 14 for carrying out processing corresponding to a plurality of operating instructions and recording log information to the SRAM 15; a UART processor 20 connected to the CPU 14 and an external device; and a battery 19 for supplying power to the SRAM 15 and the CPU 14. A plurality of the operating instructions are prioritized in advance by each operating instruction. The highest priority is placed on the operating instruction from the UART processor 20 when receiving a prescribed operating instruction. If the CPU 14 carries out processing on the basis of the operating instruction whose priority is lower than that of the prescribed operating instruction, the CPU 14 interrupts the processing and carries out the processing corresponding to the prescribed operating instruction. When the operating instruction from the UART processor 20 includes a reset instruction, the CPU 14 carries out resetting while maintaining supply of power from the battery 19 to the SRAM 15.
