<p>A plasma electric arc cutting set (1) comprises : (A) an integrated air compressor providing air at a pressure above ambient pressure; (B) a first compressed air feed system, connected to the outlet of the compressor, feeding a compressed air outlet (3); and (C) a compressed air inlet system (2), fluidly connected to a second compressed air feed system, in order to feed this with air previously compressed external to the station, the second compressed air feed system allowing the externally compressed air to be fed to the air outlet (3). An independent claim is also included for a plasma arc cutting operation using this set with an integral compressor.</p> |
