The structure has beams (12) longitudinally extending towards the front of a motor vehicle and forming a top stress absorption channel. Front ends of the beams are connected through a drop (30) that is substantially vertical to a bottom stress absorption channel arranged below the beams. The drop transversally extends such that it is integrated to a lateral structural unit.
