PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a rolling bearing, which does not require deburring work of a pocket and a separate mechanism for compression-only, and which is low-cost and excellent in dimensional accuracy and strength.SOLUTION: A molding die is used which includes: a cavity formed of a cavity body part having the same shape with the shape of a retainer and a cylindrical space formed having width same with the lower end surface, from a part corresponding to a lower end surface of the retainer, of the cavity body part; and a movable sleeve which moves upward and downward in the cylindrical space. In a state that the movable sleeve is lowered to a position lower than a position for the final thickness of a lower annular part, a molten resin composition is injected to fill the cavity. Then, before the molten resin composition is solidified, the movable sleeve is raised to the position to compress the molten resin composition, and in the compressing state, the molten resin composition is solidified to manufacture the retainer for a rolling bearing. A rolling bearing including the retainer thereby obtained is provided. |
