<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus preventing, for example, damage to a connection member even in an apparatus sliding a document reading part and provided with a loop back for preventing load on the connection member. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes: an image recording part; a scanner 100 slidaby supported on the apparatus body; a sheet ejecting part 25; a sheet-placing part 40 for placing the sheet between the scanner 100 and the apparatus body 1; and a support part 51 provided along the sheet discharging direction on the outside of the sheet placing part 40 that forms a space between the sheet placing part 40 and the scanner 100; and a flat cable 370 electrically connecting a document reading part. Between the scanner 100 and a support part 50, there are provided first and second forming parts 371 and 372 for forming curved portion of the flat cable 370 forward in the sliding direction of the scanner 100, and a curve restricting part 373 that restricts curving of the flat cable 370 backward in the sliding direction of the scanner 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
