<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the phenomenon that the action of compensating the threshold voltage of an OLED driving TFT for driving an OLED element does not function in a low voltage operation, and increase image contrast. <P>SOLUTION: Before a reset operation in which a threshold voltage Vth of an OLED driving TFT 3 is compensated is performed by a first reset TFT switch 5, a second reset TFT switch 6 is turned on to apply a reset reference potential to a gate of the OLED driving TFT 3. Accordingly, an operation point of the OLED driving TFT 3 can be stably set even when a power supply is low. In the reset operation, it is unnecessary to close a lighting TFT switch 2 and cause an OLED element to emit light, whereby contrast can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
