PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically regulating the image quality appropriately, in correspondence with individual image data. SOLUTION: Using image data, and image generation information, including at least stop information, operation mode information and focal length of lens information during image data generation and associated with the image data, sharpness of the image data is regulated, based on the stop information, operation mode information and the focal length of lens information included in the image generation information.
