PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson repairing method and a repair body used for the caisson repairing method for easily and positively repairing a caisson from which an inside filling material has flowed out due to the breakage of a sidewall, while reducing labor in diving work. SOLUTION: A through hole 7 is bored to enable a worker to go in and out of a partition chamber 10 from the upper face of the caisson 1, and a plurality of civil engineering sheets 13 each wound with one end fixed to a mandrel 11 are carried into the partition chamber 10 from the through hole 7. The plurality of civil engineering sheets 13 are respectively spread and attached to four wall surfaces W of the partition chamber 10. The ends are connected to each other with fasteners to form cylindrical shape along the wall surfaces W of the partition chamber 10 to close the broken part 5, and then concrete is placed in the partition chamber 10.
