PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for a cylindrical sealed battery, with which reduction in manufacturing efficiency and possible flow-out of a defective product both caused by falling off or rising of a mouth stuffing component can be solved, and a mouth stuffing performance can be improved effectively. SOLUTION: The gasket 32 for the cylindrical sealed battery seals a cylindrical battery can 11 (a positive electrode can) by intervening in a compressed state in an annular gap between an opening of the battery can 11 and a terminal board 27 closing the opening, wherein a convex strip 33 projecting toward a periphery of the terminal board 27 is formed in one body in an annular portion pinched by the opening of the battery can 11 and the periphery of the terminal board 27.
