<p>An illuminated display panel has a rotating mounting on top of a mast (1) and has at least two faces, preferably three evenly spaced faces, provided with display data. At least one of the faces is also fitted with solar panels (13) and the system rotates to follow the sun. The solar panels charge storage batteries and can also be connected to the grid via inverters and control systems in the base housing. This provides a cost effective operating program. Solar panels can also be mounted on the sloping roof of the system. The panels are illuminated as required.</p> |
