PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder having a vibration isolating apparatus to suppress vibration of a carriage. SOLUTION: The recorder has: a carriage with a recording head mounted thereon; a motor; a first belt connecting the motor and the carriage; and the vibration isolating apparatus.
