PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple disc clutch device capable of securely preventing fixation of metallic plates of both plates when a friction member causes loss, being set simply, and reducing cost. SOLUTION: A spacer function is provided on a driven plate 1 to prevent fixation of the driven plate 1 and a metallic plate of a board of a drive plate 2. A spacer is a cap-like cover 11 composed of one plate and attached to a projection-shaped part 1a for spline fitting of the driven plate. In a usual operation condition, the spacer (the cover 11) does not come into contact with the next driven plate 1 due to thickness of the drive plate 2, but (b) shows a condition in which a lining 3 causes loss on only one side and which is the minimum condition of fixation when the lining 3 causes loss and the driven plate 1 attempts to be fixed to the drive plate 2 to prevent fixation by the drive plate 2 by the spacer (the cover 11) function.
