<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge settlement system capable of confirming if a user has the will to pay a usage charge for facilities that require usage charges, such as drive-through shops or parking lots, when settling the usage charge, and of preventing any wrong billing process toward other users. <P>SOLUTION: The charge settlement system for settling usage charges for a driver-through shop by using an on-vehicle device used in an ETC system for use on toll roads is provided with a confirmation switch for confirming if a user on a vehicle has the will to pay at the exit of the shop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
