PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platen roller which can suppress at least one of drop of adhesive force of a thermally active gelatinization layer and deterioration of the platen roller which are seen when recording and thermal activation are performed to a thermally active gelatinization sheet with the thermally active gelatinization layer at a rear face side of a recording face of a sheet-like substrate, and to provide a recorder equipped with the same, a thermal activation device, and a label printer for sticking. SOLUTION: As the platen roller for transferring the thermally active gelatinization sheet with the thermally active gelatinization layer at the rear face side of the recording face of the sheet-like substrate, a platen roller of which the roller part contains a fluorine atom-containing rubber is used.
