PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display panel which effectively improves drain-common leak, and to improve the quality and yield of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display panel includes (a) a step in which a lower substrate equipped with a plurality of first electrodes, an upper substrate equipped with a plurality of second electrodes, and a liquid crystal layer put between the lower and upper substrates are provided, and granules are provided on the surfaces of some of the first electrodes; and (b) a step in which the first electrodes, which contact the granules, are cut with a laser beam to make first pixel areas and second pixel areas, the first pixel areas contact the granules, while the second pixel areas do not contact the granule and they are electrically separated from each other, the second pixel areas are electrically separated from the first pixel areas, and the shadows on the lower substrate of the first pixel areas are triangular, and the side edges of the triangles are parallel to or overlapped on tangents of the shadows of the granules on the first electrodes.
