<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-on-reset device having a semiconductor circuit of a constitution for reducing layout area with a small number of components, without using capacitors and resistors. <P>SOLUTION: In a power-on-reset device generating a signal at the time of the power rise of a power source unit, an output means 1 notifies that a value of a power voltage VDD has reached to a sufficient value for operating a P-channel MOS transistor Mp and an N-channel MOS transistor Mn.
