<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate operation for an AV player, which reproduces audio signals or the like based on the information being distributed through a network such as Internet, by preventing tampering of time information when the contents, whose utilization time limit is defined, are to be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: The AV player is provided with a signal receiving means 40 which obtains time information based on received radio waves, time measuring means 51 and 52 which measure time by counting generated clock signals, a control means 54 that enables reproducing of the audio signals or the like when the recognized present time is within the utilization time limit by recognizing the present time based on the time information and the measured time and controls the number of operations and/or the range, in which a user can updates the present time, based on the measured time by the time measuring means when the time information can not be obtained by the signal receiving means and a signal reproducing means 30 which reproduces the audio signals or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
