PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer with enhanced performance composed of a plurality of mixer disks which cause a front edge vortex to a fluid flowing in a main direction in a passage. SOLUTION: A plurality of the mixer disks 3 which cause a front edge vortex to a fluid flowing in a main direction in a passage are provided in a mixer 1. The mixer disks 3 are disposed along with an axis substantially and perpendicularly extending against the main direction 4 of stream. The rows of mixer disks 8 and 9 are located adjacent to the main direction of stream at the common passage part and the mixer disks 3 adjacent to the rows 8 and 9 are arranged to alternately set a positive and negative attack angle. The fluid flowing in a passage 2 is stirred by the front edge vortex system in this method, and at least two front edge vortexes which are directed in a reverse direction are generated in the common passage part.
