PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an output(display) image for establishing requests to easily understandably show the overall image of a 3D(dimensional), and to substantially understand the 3D structure of a site under consideration on the model. SOLUTION: When a site under consideration is designated through an input part 114 on a model(managed by a 3D database 21) displayed as a plane image(primary image) such as a simple linear image or the like, an auxiliary information display part 111 generates a 3D display image in a predetermined region including the designated site under consideration as an auxiliary image. A display part 113 compounds the 3D display image generated as the auxiliary image with the designated site on the primary image, and outputs it to a display 13. Thus, the designated site can be stereoscopically viewed on the display, and a feeling of reality can be obtained. The site under consideration and the 3D display visual point position are inputted from the input part 114, and when the visual points are designated inside the model, the 3D display image whose inside is viewed from the visual points is compounded as the image of the site under consideration on the primary image, and displayed.
