PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture apparatus having an automatic water supply function and capable of saving water supply works on the culture of plants. SOLUTION: This culture apparatus having the automatic water supply function is characterized by disposing a water supply tank 18 on the outside of an apparatus main body 10 having a closed water storage space 14, making one end of an air supply pipe 20 to communicate with the water supply tank 18 through an air supply hole 12a disposed in the sidewall of the apparatus main body 10, opening the other end in the water storage space 14, disposing a water supply hole 12b communicating with the water supply tank 18 at a lower position than that of the air supply hole 12a, disposing a water tank 42 water-supplied from the water supply tank 18 on the bottom side of a culture container 40 having a culture space 15, and supplying water from the water tank 42 to plant-culturing soil 39 charged on the water tank 42 through water supply strings 35.
