<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching device that is significantly higher in reliability than a mechanical relay circuit, without the generation of a large voltage drop, as much as in diodes. <P>SOLUTION: The power switching device comprises first and second switching elements Q1 and Q2 inserted directly between power supplies A and B and the load, and circuits (R1-R8, Q3 and Q4) for supplying the voltage, to the gates of the switching elements Q1 and Q2 for turning on one of the first and second switching elements Q1 and Q2, in accordance with the output voltage values of the power supply A and power supply B, while turning off the other.
