<p>The present invention discloses a method for processing periodical location request, when location service system receives the location request sent by LCS client in terms of target user equipment and confirms this location request as a periodical location request, the location service system allocates a reference number for the said periodical location request basing on the predefined rule; after locating target user equipment, location service system returns the location result of target user equipment, which carries the said reference number, to LCS client. As to the present invention, according to the reference numbers allocated by location service system, LCS client can associate location result of target user equipment returned by location service system with the periodical location request initiated by this LCS client, so as to guarantee processing normality of periodical location request. In addition, with the reference number, the LCS client can explicitly identify which periodical location request should be cancelled when the LCS client initials a cancellation procedure.</p> |
