PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for a laser marker to more enhance the stability of the laser marker while being resistant to causing interference with a wall surface, etc. SOLUTION: This base 30 for a laser marker includes a pedestal part 32 for thereon mounting the laser marker and a plurality of leg parts 40 each having a ground contacting point that contacts with a floor surface. An attachment hole HL is vertically provided in the pedestal part 32 for thereto fixing the laser marker. Each of the leg parts 40 is horizontally slidable, with the jut-out amount of each contacting point adjustable. The pedestal part 32 is provided with respective guide holes H in the horizontal direction, with the guide holes H capable of housing the respective leg parts 40 that are horizontally slidable, while the guide holes H are provided so that the extensions, in the slide direction, of the leg parts 40 housed in the guide holes H are directed in directions that avoid the attachment hole HL.
