PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of HTML capable of reducing a connection wait time to a site where HTML data on a network is present and a communication cost. SOLUTION: This hypertext display device has a user interface for designating an object (identification data) such as an underlined link text for telling an user link information in HTML data. When the object is designated, information showing a place where the HTML data themselves including the object are present is acquired by a first information acquiring means 6 and link information of the object is acquired by a second information acquiring means 7. Both acquired information pieces are stored in a table 8. The HTML data and the HTML data indicated by the link information corresponding to them are acquired by a data acquiring means 9 and then stored in a data storage means 16.
