The proposed control system for a movable television camera contains a unit for setting the angle position of the camera, a unit for measuring an error signal, an amplifier, a geared motor, an angular position transducer for the camera, a switch for selecting operation mode of the control system, a reference voltage source, an adder, a distance detector, and additionally, for a possibility to operate the system in the manual control mode, automatic control mode, or training mode, two integrators, four memory units, three multipliers, two dividers, two additional adders, a sine functional converter, a cosine functional converter, an arc tangent functional converter, a switching unit, an angular velocity transducer for the camera, and an additional switch. The control inputs of the integrators and the first and the second memory units are connected to the input of the operation mode switch. The output of the angular velocity transducer isconnected to the input of the integrators. The inputs of the switching unit are accordingly connected to the output of the angular position transducerand the outputs of the integrators, and the output is connected to the input of the unit for measuring an error signal. The inputs of the additional switch are accordingly connected to the output of the reference voltage source and the output of the operation mode switch, and the output is connected to the control inputs of the switching unit and the third and the fourth memory unit.
