<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle capable of reducing the number of intermediate reduction gears between a continuously variable transmission and a differential device while sharing a differential device for a manual transmission or the like, and capable of carrying out compactification and improvement of a degree of freedom of layout. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device 10 is provided with a reduction gear mechanism part 41 reducing the speed of driving force from a drive source 20 such that the driving force outputted from the continuously variable transmission can be transmitted to the differential device 80 having a final gear ratio corresponding to a conventional type manual transmission or the like without using an intermediate reduction gear mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
