<p>A retractable vehicle bearing assembly (10) adapted for the lateral (5) movement of a vehicle, over a surface, into and out of a confined housing. The ramp assembly (10) comprises a load bearing platform (11) onto which the vehicle is locatable when the platform (11) is out of the housing, and support means to support the platform (11) on the surface and to guide the movement of the platform.
