PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor with a greater ESL reduction effect for a capacitor element and a winding core appropriate to this capacitor. SOLUTION: A belt-like metallic part for configuring electrodes of the capacitor element 5 and a belt-like dielectric body for configuring the dielectric body of the capacitor element 5 are wound on the winding core 1. Metallicon electrodes 3, 4 are respectively formed to opposed end faces of the winding core 1, the one metallicon electrode 3 is connected to the metallic part 6 of the winding core 1, and an electrode lead-out member 16 conductive to the metallic part 6 in the winding core 1 and nonconductive to the other metallicon electrode 4 is provided to the other metallicon electrode 4.
