PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method capable of connecting together pipes or the like between two members when a front end module is installed on a side member of the vehicle body easily using a relatively simple jig. SOLUTION: A jig block J1 or J2 having a slot 1 are previously mounted on the side member S on the vehicle body B and the front end module M, and a pipe P1 or P2 is grasped by the tool block. The blocks J1 and J2 are fitted to each other when the front end module M is installed on the side member S, and the pipes P1 and P2 grasped by the blocks J1 and J2 are fitted to each other and put in connection.
