OPERATION ASSISTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation assisting device capable of stably performing parallel parking at a same position. SOLUTION: The operation assisting device produces: a guide 1011 for detecting a road side 57 of a place for performing the parallel parking from an image at a rear side of a vehicle 50 and indicating a detection position of the road side 57; and a first guide 1012 and a second guide 1013 to overlappingly display it on the image. A relationship of the display position of the first guide 1012 and the vehicle 50 is set such that the first guide 1012 is overlapped at a position of the road side 57 when the vehicle 50 retreats at the maximum steering angle and forms a predetermined angle with the road side 57. A relationship of the display position of the second guide 1013 and the vehicle 50 is set such that the second guide 1013 is overlapped with the position of the road side 57 when it is expected that the vehicle 50 arrives at the place for the parallel parking when the vehicle 50 retreats at the maximum steering angle in the opposite direction to the maximum steering angle. It is accurately determined by the first guide 1012 that an angle of the vehicle 50 and the road side 57 reaches the predetermined angle, which enables accurate parking at the parking position.
