<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device analyzing information obtained via a three line scanner mounted on a camera and precisely correcting the position and the attitude information of the camera. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises a step of calculating the position of the camera using a global navigation satellite system, a step of calculating the attitude of the camera using an inertial navigation system, a step of analyzing an image inputted via the three line scanner mounted to the camera and creating the position and attitude correction information of the camera, and a step of feeding back the created position and attitude correction information to the global navigation satellite system and inertial navigation system, respectively. The image input via the three line scanner is constituted by a forward scanner observation image, a directly under scanner observation image, and a backward scanner observation image. Exterior orientation parameters of the camera can be precisely determined without using a ground control point with respect to the image observed via the camera mounted on a transporting means such as a satellite, an aircraft, or a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
