<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio interactive device which can easily be designed by a designer who has no specific knowledge relative to audio interactive, and can easily be used by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A response sentence determining section 13 selects a response request sentence having highest degree of priority among a plurality of response request sentences stored in a response sentence candidate database 12. Audio interactive section 14 outputs the selected response request sentence from a speaker 15 by voice. Then, the audio interactive section 14 receives user's voice from a microphone 16 and generates an output corresponding to the received voice. A reject detection section 17 judges presence or absence of the response of the user in the audio outputted from the speaker 15 based on the output of the audio interactive section 14. The judgement result is notified to the response sentence determining section 13.
