<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof airbag system capable of surely protecting occupants if a vehicle is overturned or under a similar condition. <P>SOLUTION: A bag body for the airbag system formed by sewing a basic fabric 15 includes: roof airbag bodies 6A, 6B and 6C arranged inside a cabin of a ceiling member 2 of the vehicle 4; inflators 7A, 7B for ejecting pressurized fluid so as to inflate and deploy the roof airbag bodies 6A, 6B and 6C; and heat insulating sheets 3A, 3B and 3C, arranged between the ceiling member 2 and the roof airbag bodies 6A, 6B and 6C, for reducing heat transfer from the ceiling member 2 to the roof airbag bodies 6A, 6B and 6C.
