PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a collision noise generated when a disk tray is stopped at a retreated position. SOLUTION: Forward and backward operations of the disk tray 3 mounted on an enclosure 1 are conducted by a pinion rack mechanism 5 composed of a pinion 51 arranged on the enclosure 1 and a rack 55 arranged on the disk tray 3. When an abutting surface 41 is moved to immediately before a position where the abutting surface 41 arrives at the engaging position with a receiving surface 21 by the retreating operation of the disk tray 3, an engaging tooth 52 of the pinion 51 is locked to a POM resin which is buried in a valley section 57 between adjacent engaging teeth 56, of the rack 55.
