<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding cassette without mistaking a fixing position of a width regulating plate. <P>SOLUTION: This paper feeding cassette 1 has a double structure part 10 of an upper plate 11 and a lower plate 12. The lower plate 12 forms a first guide groove 13 longitudinal in the width direction of stored paper and arranging a plurality of inch size locking recessed parts 17 and a plurality of centimeter size locking recessed parts in its longitudinal direction. The upper plate 11 can move in the width direction of the stored paper along the lower plate 12. The inch size locking recessed parts 17 are validated by setting the upper plate 11 in a first position, and the centimeter size locking recessed parts are validated by setting the upper plate 11 in a second position. The paper feeding cassette 1 also has the width regulating plate slidable in the width direction of the paper in response to a width of the stored paper.
