PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a water-dispersed adhesive composition capable of effectively reducing the amount of remaining unreacted monomer and solvent, a water-dispersed adhesive composition obtained by the method, and an adhesive sheet provided with an adhesive layer composed of the water-dispersed adhesive composition. SOLUTION: A monomer containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate is polymerized to prepare a water-dispersed acrylic polymer, and then the obtained water-dispersed polymer is blended with a redox initiator to obtain a water-dispersed adhesive composition. The adhesive sheet provided with the adhesive layer composed of the water-dispersed adhesive composition can be effectively used in various fields as an adhesive sheet in which excellent work safety and reduction of environmental loads have been realized.
