[PROBLEMS] To provide a technology that realizes continuous culturing of protoplasts under mild culturing conditions, thereby enabling continuous production of cell wall constituents. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Protoplasts are cultured in a liquid so as to diffuse cell wall constituents in the culture solution with the result that while maintaining the state of protoplasts, cell wall constituents are continuously produced in the culture solution. For example, there is provided a method of continuous protoplast culturing, comprising carrying out liquid culturing of protoplasts (P) while inhibiting regeneration of cell walls through, for example, appropriately shaking of the culture solution so that the protoplasts (P) continuously produce cell wall constituents (W) in the culture solution (1). Further, there is provided a relevant protoplast continuous culturing system.
