PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate having, for application for a display device, sufficient gas barrier function (moisture-proof performance) to maintain the moisture-proof environment in the device by adsorption of the moisture present inside of the display device and the gas barrier layer preventing moisture from invading from the outside, and to provide the display device using the laminate. SOLUTION: The gas barrier laminate is formed by successively laminating the gas barrier layer and the moisture adsorption layer on at least one surface of a film base material.
