PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear magnetic resonance photographing apparatus that corresponds an image to a subject in operation, and uses a system for synthesizing an image to display and a three-dimensional position detecting device to update in real time for photographing any sectional image of the subject to display. SOLUTION: The nuclear magnetic resonance photographing apparatus comprises a magnetostatic field generation means 102 for generating a static magnetostatic field in a space holding the subject 101, a gradient magnetic field generating means 103 for generating a gradient magnetic field in the space, an irradiation means 104 for irradiating a high-frequency magnetic field to generate a magnetic resonance in the subject 101, a receiving means 105 for detecting and receiving a magnetic resonance signal from the subject 101 by the magnetic resonance, and a display means 132 for displaying an image based on the signal received by the receiving means 105, wherein the display means 132 is furnished with a detection pointer 131 for detecting the position of the display means 132 to change the image displayed on the display means 132 accompanying the shift of the display means 132.
