PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a vehicle seat capable of enhancing the degree of freedom in the seat arrangement to a great extent. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the vehicle seat is configured so that the seat can slide on at least a pair of fore-and-aft rails and at least a pair of left-right rails installed perpendicularly intersecting each other, wherein the fore-and-aft rails and left-right rails are laid apart at an equal spacing. The left-right rails are extended to a side sill on the lateral door side, and at the termination, a seat mounting/removing part is formed.
